I’m Black
In America…

You tell me.

I’m not sure about anon but I will happily tell you. Black people in America aren’t oppressed. People bend over backwards for black people nowadays. There’s no white man holding you back any more. It’s your shitty ghetto culture and insistence on touting your victimhood that holds you back. Your petty bitterness at the ‘system’ (the same system that you’re too stupid or stubborn to realise is desperately trying to appease you and the rest of your whiny kind) is not doing you any favours.

The entitled attitude amongst liberal black people is what gives other black people a bad name. Liberal black folk refuse to ever accept responsibility and blame for their actions, always trying to blame it on whitey. Yet you still wonder why certain people resent you? It’s not helping your cause. If you want to improve the living conditions of black people in America, stop acting like little brats moaning about
imaginary oppression and prove that you’re actually worthy of respect, like every other individual has to do.

…….
Someone address this too if you have the time lol

Lmao. Our “ghetto culture.” I didn’t stomach to read the rest of this. It’s now comical to me to see white people so stupid, so I’m denial, and so gross. There’s entirely too much to unpack and say and it’s not my job to teach corny crackers who troll the internet, trying to “teach” as if they understand anything. But, do you.

Lmao I didn’t read if either.

May I?

Great. I’d like to address this point for point because I’m thorough like that.

“I’m not sure about anon but I will happily tell you”

-No one asked you.

“Black people in America aren’t oppressed”

-Then what exactly was the purpose of the Civil Rights Act of 1866, 1871, 1875, 1957, 1960, 1964, 1965, 1968, 1987 and 1990 if Black people, and people of color as a whole, are not oppressed in this country?

“People bend over backwards for black people nowadays”

-If by bend over backwards you mean cut down, attack and spit on the physical, emotional and mental well being of all black people then yeah, they do.

“There’s no white man holding you back any more”

-We all know that systematic oppression is the most effective kind.

“It’s your shitty ghetto culture and insistence on touting your victimhood that holds you back”

-It is YOUR people that created these ghettos and then barricaded all people of color as well as the poor in. They belong to you.

Here’s a really simple take on how you do this:

1) Black people were enslaved for about 245 years in North America. Specifically speaking to America, that’s 245 years that white people were afforded the opportunity to an education, a developed culture and a hand in the economy and 245 years that black people were not.

2) Ghettos are highly concentrated with communities of color and impoverished communities. Class plays a serious hand in the racial divide in America and acknowledging that allows us to assume that most if not all inhabitants of “ghetto” areas barely scratch the ceiling or just make it to lower middle class. The amount of money made by the inhabitants of these areas dictates the taxes/funding that is allocated to the public institutions serving that direct area i.e. schools and hospitals. That means sicker people, poor quality servicing to the communities, a poor standard for education, neighborhood upkeep, and the list goes on and on.

3) This is clearly affecting people of color because these ghettos are predominantly of color.

The shit is inevitable, and still we rise.

“Your petty bitterness at the ‘system’ (the same system that you’re too stupid or stubborn to realise is desperately trying to appease you and the rest of your whiny kind) is not doing you any favours”

-The system is something fucking serious dude. The system is not designed to cater to any particular group, it’s a system designed to exploit and flourish without the chance of replenishing. It just happens to be that white people have led the evolution of our economy because of the amount of capital they were able to collect over those 245 years I mentioned earlier. But when you think about it, still, you guys didn’t even really lead that, because it was black labor that fed slavery which was our predominant economic system and as we made the change to being an industrial economy it was many black people, and the poor (btw, Whites are only oppressed when they’re poor, which is why we saw a white population in that labor movement as well), that worked in the factories and still people of color fill tons of service jobs that are taken for granted but are integral to the economies of many communities directly. And it in no way appeases us, it demands capital and that is only a race specific concept because of the history of white and blacks economically in this country, specifically the fact that we were chattel at one point, and then counted as 3/5th of a person at another (for the purpose of tax of course).

“The entitled attitude amongst liberal black people is what gives other black people a bad name. Liberal black folk refuse to ever accept responsibility and blame for their actions, always trying to blame it on whitey”

-There is nothing entitled about any black experience because it is just that, a black experience in America, a nation that has historically shown such gross sentiment toward that community in particular; slavery, Jim Crow/black codes, the KKK, the prison industrial complex, blackface, lynching, segregation, the civil war…it’s disgusting that I could continue to reference things.

“Yet you still wonder why certain people resent you?”

-No one is wondering, we know why.

“It’s not helping your cause. If you want to improve the living conditions of black people in America, stop acting like little brats moaning about imaginary oppression and prove that you’re actually worthy of respect, like every other individual has to do”

-….. Fuck you.

Fucking. Thank you. Somebody said it.
